Whether you're traveling with elderly family or a group of friends, this cottage is ideal. The location in Ballater is perfect and the log fire added a lovely cozy touch. The kitchen was well equipped and the bath was a real treat. The open window to the garden terrace was a nice touch, allowing the fresh air to come in. Everything about the cottage had a charming and quaint feel, and it was spotlessly clean. The communication with the hosts was top-notch as well, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Dormie Cottage for a wonderful stay in the Cairngorms.

I particularly loved the log fire, which was a bonus during our snowy stay. the cottage was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with two well, laid out bathrooms and great. the location was perfect, surrounded by peaceful mountains, yet just a short walk from local cafes, bars, shops. the local people in the area were friendly and welcoming. Communication with Kiera, the property owner, was easy and efficient. I highly recommend staying at Dormie Cottage if you're visiting the Cairngorms. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 😊.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Dormie Cottage in Ballater. The spacious accommodation comfortably housed two couples, and the large garden was perfect for our dog to explore. Despite being located on a quiet street, the cottage was only a short walk from the town center. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were great, and we appreciated having Sky TV for sports enthusiasts. The kitchen area with its large round table provided a lovely space for us to gather, and the outdoor furniture was an added bonus during the lucky sunny weather. a fabulous experience that I highly recommend.

I recently stayed at a gorgeous cottage in the Cairngorms and it truly lived up to the pictures. The cottage was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the ensuite showers were excellent. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and close to all the main amenities. We loved having our own off-road parking and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings. it was a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful lochs and glens of the area.
